  1. Can I use the latest and greatest Di2 groupset on my Pinarello Paris Di2 frameset that I’ve had sitting in my garage since 2013? Or was that just a waste of money?

  2. so E-tube is basically SOCA cable for bikes. Soca has been around for decades in the event indudtry. Lighting is one example, where one giant cable carries both data and power to the distro box on the truss and then on to the lighting fixtures via breakouts

maybe the cycling industry should look more closely at the world of AV for ideas.

i can custom control any console from an ipad or phone, for example. why not a bike? we've been doing that for years now. it's old news, even if this is a year old program

let's just hope no pranksters decide to hack someone's bike in real time!!

  3. The next generation will be able to "capture" the way you ride. After a few rides it will capture your riding data such as how much you spin or mash and will adapt that to it's shifting sequence. In other words, wether you like it or not it's heading in the automatic world. You will also have the ability to download a pro's cycling style and use that to see if it works for you.
