Internal Facebook Emails Released: What They Reveal

A look at documents released by a U.K. lawmaker as part of a British parliamentary committee inquiry into “disinformation and fake news,” reveals how Facebook and CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave select developers special access to user data and deliberated on whether to sell that data.

  1. Are you saying this "scandal" is based on something Facebook never did, but only discussed internally years ago?
Ugh… this kind of media sucks!, analyzing and blocking competition in your platform sounds pretty wise to me…

  2. So… they don't sell user data, they just considered it. They also try and outmanoeuvre the competition, like any rational business would do. Facebook has made errors in the past, but this video is putting a negative spin on practises that aren't wrong. Either way, twitter is better lol.
