1. So I'm planning on getting new hardware, everything but gpu and hard drives really.
I have an ssd where my os is located. What issues would I run into just hooking that up once everything else is set?

  4. This Helped me and now I have a Great Gaming PC! Thanks a lot Austin!

Specs for those who are curious:

    AMD Ryzen 3 2200G @ 3.5 GHZ

    8 GB DDR4 RAM

    480 GB SSD

    NVIDIA GT 1030 2 GB

  5. Another how to video that only shows people how to put one together, this pc is only half done. If you want to see how one is done from start to finish check out Paul's hardware. To all new pc builders he takes you through the entire process of including loading Windows, by the way is the other half in pc building. God I hate these half ass how to videos

  6. 5:02 I feel like that was the cue to explain why that was "a little off".

John tried to place the CPU in the motherboard socket, but since
he doesn't know there's a correct orientation to do so, he chose to align the "Ryzen" writing with the other big writings on the motherboard. In this case the socket on the motherboard is turned 90° clockwise, so the assumption was incorrect.

So what do you do in John's position? Both CPU and motherboard socket have one little triangle in one of their corners. Match the triangles and the CPU will be in the correct orientation.

  7. Is this ram good for ryzen 5 2400g build? Here is model: Ballistix Sport LT 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 3000 MT/s (PC4-24000) CL16 SR x8 DIMM 288-Pin Memory – BLS2K8G4D30BESBK .
